Fuzine: We Have a Great Team

For us in the ROM 2010 Summer Core Team this is the most exciting season in the year. By now our entire core team has gathered in Fuzine, Croatia for the final planning weeks leading to the twelfth ROM Reconciliation and Leadership Development Gathering, or ROM Gathering 2010 in short.

Many of you know them. But for those among our friends who are new to ROM these are the members of the summer team - Tea Deak (Croatia), Phyllis Harries (UK), Brett McMichael (USA). Aleks and Jessica Jarcev (Macedonia), and Christine and Tihomir Kukolja. All of them are experienced ROM leaders, and it is a pleasure to be surrounded by each one of them. Now the final stage of the planning is moving rapidly forward. We in the team are especially trilled to have Brett with us again after three years of his absence from Croatia due to the kidney problems. Now with a new kidney he is back serving in the ROM 2010 summer team and the team launching a special camp for children with special needs next week.

We are confident of another great ROM season, and a new generation of young people from fifteen countries at least emerging this summer with a clear vision and commitment to serve their countries in the spirit of Jesus of Nazareth. The ever busier times are ahead of us in the coming weeks. Another group of about ten people will join our team a couple of days before the gathering for the most final step of preparation. Then on Sunday 18 July ROM Gathering 2010 will commence. But despite the busy schedule ahead of us, we will try to keep you informed and updated. We would like you to share as much as it is possible in our joy and excitement.
