My Macedonian Kitchen Goes to Croatia

Fuzine, Croatia

Jessica Jarcev, a ROM Summer 2010 core team member, writes: "Fuzine, Croatia.  It will always have a special place in our hearts.  Actually, Fuzine is the reason my kitchen went from being an average American kitchen to my Macedonian Kitchen... it's the place where Aleks and I met.  Every summer since 2006 (except for one, when we were in America) we have been coming to Fuzine to help with a reconciliation conference.  So, here we are again and let me tell you after the last few weeks we've had in Skopje (remember all of the bus sweating...?)  Fuzine is a dream. It is cool, green, clean and the air is so fresh!  We just arrived, so we haven't been cooking, but I thought I'd share a little taste of this quiet village with you."
