Dear Friends,

Now that we have started modestly but successfully with our web TV program "Dare to Make a Difference", we would like to recommend it to you and your friends.

Dare to Make a Difference is planned as a 45 to 60 minute weekly live web TV broadcast of stories, accounts, reviews and interviews featuring people and organizations,  that are making a difference in the world divided by ethnic, national, racial, religious and political divides. At this moment our live broadcast can be watched on every Wednesday at 9.00 pm CST (Central Summer Time, Houston time..). We are still looking for the most optimal time for the live broadcast, and will let you know on time should the schedule change.

Our first broadcast two weeks ago featured Brett McMichael, an American psychologist, who invested fifteen years of his professional and personal life in helping children with special needs in Croatia, Romania and Honduras, and Adina Cristea, a founder and the Business Development Manager of the first YouthBank in Romania.

The second one, broadcast one week ago featured Samuil Petrovski, the Director of Alliance of Evangelical Students in Serbia and Monte Negro (EUS - Evandjeosko udruzenje studenata), which is the Serbian national branch of International Federation of Evangelical Students.

Our next live broadcast this Wednesday, 9.00 pm CST will feature a 30 minute interview with John Masuku, Zimbabwe. John Masuku is an internationally known radio producer, broadcaster and journalist, and the Director of Voice of the People (VOP) Radio. Radio VOP has been commended for its resilience despite hardships, bombing of its production facilities, imprisonment of its Director, and continued broadcasting of diverse views in difficult circumstances. In 2006 VOP was the winner of the 2006 BBC Sponsored One World Media Special Award For Media Development. In the coming interview John Masuku will provide an assessment of the current political and social situation in Zimbabwe, reflect on the ten years of VOP's service, and share his hopes and dreams for the future of Zimbabwe.

Dare to Make a Difference reflects the vision and mission of the Renewing Our Minds Initiative, namely a vision of a new generation of leaders with characters transformed by Jesus of Nazareth, committed to reconciliation, peacemaking, friendship, leadership of service, healing social action, and building of benevolent communities.
